Turkey: Wants to purchase US Harrier fleet.

(Ankara) With the advent of the F35B jump jet the US Marine corps fleet of Harrier jump jets is looking at going out of service in the not so distant future.


Another nation which is going to operate the F35B is Turkey, however they have approached the US to sell them a number of Harrier jump jets in which to bide them over until their F35 become operational.


With the possible sale of the entire US harrier fleet, a few more countries may start looking at purchasing a large number of one one owner Jump jets in which to bolster their military. Countries such as Taiwan  which has a large number of Chinese missiles aimed at its normal runways
